Summerhill Bowling Club - The Quirky and Charming Wedding Venue

Summerhill offers the practicality of a city centre location paired with the coolest laid back DIY vibes. You get to do your wedding, your way and exclusively use the Pavilion, the kitchen, and the lower and upper lawns for wedding events. The Pavilion, can hold up to 120 people or 75 seated and the space can be decorated to your chosen theme with conveniently located hooks for hanging decorations. You can also organise a marquee for up to 200 people on the lower lawn. Barbecues and fire pits are allowed too! Summerhill feels like the Newcastle Wedding Scene’s best kept secret - we can’t wait to work on a wedding there soon!

Many couples have been coming to the Tyneside Cinema for years and choose to incorporate film into their ceremony, with a montage of famous love scenes created to kick off the proceedings in true cinematic style. We have spent many evenings there and love this place!

The Leazes Room and the waiting room for the Register Office are particularly stunning, with their Art Deco-inspired decor and beautiful natural light. The venue is perfect for couples who want to live out their Wes Anderson dreams and create a whimsical and romantic atmosphere for their big day. It's also a great place to start the nuptials before heading on to your favourite bar or restaurant in the city to carry on the celebration.
